Melton battle to the end!
Melton were put into bat by visiting Hinckley and made a solid start with opening pair Gary Potter and Ben Redwood both made half centuries. Melton put on a 77 runs for the opening partnership before loosing Potter. Lots of other players made contributions to get Melton to 202 gaining their maximum batting points.
Hinckley started with a 50 run partnership followed by a century stand leaving the visitors needing just 50 runs form 18 overs for victory.
Wickets then started to tumble. The scoreboard transformed from 155 for 2 to 158 for 4 and 165 for 5!
Hinckley managed to hold their nerve against the pressure for a 33 runs partnership before the Melton bowling line-up unleashed another dominating attack, taking four wickets for 4 runs in 4 overs but Melton had left themselves too much to do and Hinckley grabbed the winning runs after an exciting finale.

HINCKLEY 206 for 9
Hinckley won by 1 wicket.
